Get Involved in Your Neighborhood
Our neighborhood can only get better with your help! Get involved, meet your neighbors, and make a difference in your community.
1. Become an Active Member
It only takes a couple of minutes to complete the Active Member application. Once your residency has been confirmed, your household is invited to vote at membership meetings, join any number of committees, and take a leadership role in the neighborhood.
2. Come to a Membership Meeting
We usually meet once a month at the Wheaton library to discuss issues and exchange ideas to improve our neighborhood. Check out the events calendar for specific meeting days and other activities.
3. Recruit Other Neighbors to Join
Invite other neighbors to become Active Members and attend our membership meetings. As WHCA grows, we can raise our voices together to bring about positive change.
4. Join A Committee
Guide the direction of WHCA and the neighborhood by actively participating in our committees. There are five standing committees focused on improving the neighborhood. Just let the committee chair know that you would like to join.
